Living abroad: following De Dijle

Living abroad can be an exciting yet a challenging experience as well. We take this leap into the unknown for various reasons. A mix of feelings are present, some nice, others more difficult to be present with.

I believe that Nature can support us during this experience.

If you are curious about this idea, I invite you to come with an open mind to discover a great opportunity to connect with this new land and find some support for your feet in this adventure that you are undertaking.

If you have been living abroad for a long time or if you are born here, you are also welcome. Maybe you are embracing a new chapter in your life abroad or you just recently moved back, there is definitely a common ground to these experiences as well.

We will walk in the center of Leuven, following the river of the city, called De Dijle. Most importantly, we will embrace the river by observing her and doing mindfulness exercises.

Meeting point: Botanical Garden of the city (Kruidtuin), at the entrance of the Heilige-Geeststraat (Location). We will meet at the chairs on the right side of the entrance to the botanical garden (see photo at the bottom of this page).

Please note that this is not a circular circuit, we will end the walk at another point in the city.

Difficulty: easy, it is approximately a 3 km walk. Bring comfortable shoes for walking in the city and adequate clothing for the cold weather.

Price: based on donations. At the end of the walk you can decide to make a donation (cash, transfer, Payconiq).

Registration: via this form.

Meeting point inside the Botanical garden.
